Privacy Policy

The short version

OneMemory separates desktop work from cloud continuity. The Windows app keeps a desktop working store for fast and offline recall. Portable memory can enter the cloud lane when sync is enabled for an account. Session observation requires consent, secret redaction runs before persisted writes, and sync policy keeps restricted, secret, session-only, and host-local memory out of the cloud lane by default.

What the app touches on your computer

• AI session files. If you enable the observer (off by default, asked plainly during setup), OneMemory reads local session files of the AI tools you selected to detect facts worth remembering. Portable claims may sync according to the policy shown in the app.
• Secret redaction. API keys, tokens, and passwords are stripped before anything is stored.
• Your desktop working store. Stored at %LOCALAPPDATA%\OneMemory. You can export or delete it at any time; uninstalling asks whether to keep it. Cloud sync is a separate lane.

What we receive

• Free access and support email. If you request free access or email us, we get your email address and what you wrote. Free access submissions are processed by formsubmit.co.
• Cloud memory and sync. When cloud sync is enabled, the service receives portable memory and its provenance so it can be available to enabled computers. Restricted, secret, session-only, and host-local memory stays out by default.
• Purchases. Payments are handled by our merchant of record; they process your payment details and share with us your email, license status, and country. We never see card numbers.
• License checks. The app periodically validates your license key with the license server. That request contains the key and a machine name, never memory content.
• Update checks. The app fetches a version manifest from this website. Standard web logs (IP, user agent) apply.
• Nothing else. There is no telemetry or analytics in the app. Crash reporting, if we ever add it, will be opt-in and stripped of content.

This site uses no advertising analytics, cookies, or trackers. Fonts, scripts, and images are served from this domain. Free access submissions are processed by formsubmit.co. Standard web server logs (IP, user agent) also apply.

Your rights

Export and deletion are product features: use the dashboard to export your data, delete the desktop data folder, and use the available account controls for cloud data. For anything else we hold (free access email, support email, purchase records), email hello@onememoryai.com and we will correct or delete it. EU/UK users: our lawful basis for processing purchase data is contract performance; for free access requests, consent, withdrawable anytime.
